- Successfully implemented a comprehensive content metadata extraction system, leveraging tools such as FFProbe and Rekognition. This initiative played a pivotal role in the organization-wide AI Gen project, significantly enhancing the availability of metadata for content. The extracted metadata is poised to power future AI features.
- Developed and deployed a robust proxy layer using AWS Fargate (ECS) to serve as a client interface. This layer not only featured well-defined API contracts but also implemented authorization mechanisms. This architectural enhancement improved accessibility and security for interacting with content metadata, adhering to Advertising API standards. The system seamlessly exposed content metadata APIs to both internal (1P) and external (3P) clients.
- Spearheaded the end-to-end design and implementation of a thumbnail extraction system, conducting in-depth research on tools such as MediaConvert and FFProbe to optimize the extraction process. The successful implementation of this system resulted in a noteworthy 5% increase in the visual appeal of sponsored video ads, as visually striking thumbnails were effectively showcased
